Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School. We trust that your year 2007-2008 will be educationally profitable for you.
Middle School is a time of change and adjustment. The work load and social adjustments are greater here than at the elementary level. You will be expected to attend school regularly, complete all assignments, and behave appropriately. Your year will be exciting and filled with many new opportunities.
Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School is committed to excellence in teaching and learning. We hold HIGH EXPECTATIONS for you, your parents and the staff. We share with our community, the responsibility for providing a safe, caring environment designed to help you become productive citizens. We pledge all available resources to help prepare you to live and work in a rapidly changing technological society.
Jonesboro-Hodge Middle School further believes that the educational process in a partnership which includes parents, educators, and the community working together to provide the very BEST educational experiences for you through cooperative mutual endeavors which will ultimately produce healthy, happy, well educated (well-rounded) children.
The rules, procedures, expectations, rights and responsibilities related to student conduct are included and explained. Please let your child understand that no violation will be tolerated. We want all children to be safe and nurtured in the most positive environment possible.
