Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

The faculty and staff welcome you and your child to Southside Elementary School. Southside Elementary is a Title I school made up of Kindergarten, First and Second Grade classes.

 

As a staff of trained, professional people, we have a tremendous task to help your child establish initially  successful learning patterns at school. Your support and assistance as parents is essential for your child to reach his/her maximum educational development. Our major goal is that our primary students will establish a good learning foundation on which new learning will continue to develop in a fluent, consistent, and exciting pattern as they encounter learning experiences at various educational levels.

 

To have a safe environment and an appropriate setting for learning, rules and regulations must be obeyed and enforced at Southside Elementary. Please take time to read the entire student/parent handbook.
