Scholarships

 

Sheriff's Scholarship due April 1st  - all seniors are encouraged to apply

 

Robert C. Byrd Scholarship is due March 5th - minimum 3.5 gpa and 23 on ACT

 

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship - due March 31st. Must have a 2.5 gpa and plan on attending a 4-year college

 

La. Middle School Assoc. is awarding a $1,000 scholarship for a senior entering the field of education. See Mrs. hay for a app.  Due April 9th.

 

Vocational Rehabilitation - there are monies available for students who have some sort of documented disability, academic or health related. Please come by and get an application or you can call Mr. Larry Lawrence at 362.3232.

 

The I.J. Allen and EXCO Resources Scholarships (Science Merit, Vocational, and EXCO Merit) were given to the seniors on Wednesday, March 24^th. These scholarship are due Monday, March 29^th. These are important scholarships so please make sure your child turns them in to me. I’ll attach their transcript, ACT, and GEE scores.

Northwestern State University will host a Senior Day on March 6th. You can email your reservation to Recruiting@nsula.edu
