Mac OS User Tabbing

For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:

Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Help Image 1
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Public ADA Accommodation Request Form

 

 

If you have a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to fully participate in a school board meeting, please contact William Carter, Superintendent via email at william.carter@jpsbschools.us or 318-259-4456 ext. 2211 to discuss your accessibility needs. You may also complete this electronic form. ADA accommodation requests should be received 3-5 days before the event for which the accommodations are needed. The School Board shall allow any member of the public with a disability recognized by the American Disabilities Act, or a designated caregiver of such a person, to participate in its meetings via teleconference or video conference, utilizing procedures established by the Superintendent to do so.
