About Us
The Jackson Parish School System’s Early Childhood Program is dedicated to nurturing young learners during the most important years of growth and development. Our program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children build strong foundations in learning, social skills, and emotional development. Through developmentally appropriate instruction and caring educators, we help prepare children for lifelong success in school and beyond. Enrolling your child in our early childhood program gives them a confident start, a love for learning, and the skills they need to thrive.

The online early childhood interest form is available to be completed for any child birth to five looking to enroll in any of our programs, including Public School PreK, Head Start, and Type III Child Care Centers. Many programs are based on income eligibility. Complete the interest form to receive more detailed information.
